Inergize Digital

• Website work included making the initial builds for several station websites including KHSL, KHON, and KOIN. Was also responsible for branding and executing product launches for both web and iOS/Android apps. Some apps worked on include the Seek it Local app as well as the News Synergy and News Synergy Deals apps, which has been rebranded by over 60 stations and has been downloaded in excess of one million times.
• HTML5 and Flash work involved planning, storyboarding, and creating animations and motion graphics for over ten advertisement campaigns, as well as dozens of menus, headers, and interactive elements.
• Also engaged in a team effort to design the Inergize Digital CMS, used by over 100 large scale media companies. This included management systems for contests and games, rich media, weather, and an incredibly robust news manager system.
• Produced art, designs, and layouts of flagship products including the Inergize site, CMS, News Synergy site and administration, Seek it Local site and administration, as well as dozens of Elimination and Pick-Em online games.
• Used extensive HTML and CSS styling to create hundreds of individual webpages, and worked closely with a team of .net developers to create a myriad of products for both web and SMS devices. Focused on usability, accessablity, client customization and rebranding, and SEO best practices.
• Worked directly with over sixty different clients in the television and radio industries assisting with design consultation and implementation. This ranged from training sessions for the CMS platform to complete site buildouts. Other tasks included category and display implementation and advice.
• Designed over a dozen print ads and convention brochure handouts, best practices and style guides, as well as additional assorted marketing whitepapers.

Evans Larson Communications

• Designed and maintained the Evans Larson website, combining HTML, Flash, and Contribute-compatible regions.
• Coordinated with third-party programmers and copywriters to build and maintain several client sites. This included design consultation, revision assistance, and translation of hundreds of individual pages.
• Handled layout, production, and copy editing duties for multiple client sites and small-scale print projects.

• Planned, storyboarded, and created Flash animation and motion graphics for over a dozen websites, advertisements, educational suppliments, and interactive games. Included traditional and tween animation, as well as UI effects and functionality.
• Created print and web designs for clients, including large-scale printing and signage.
• Produced art and illustrations for print and web projects, as well as interactive Flash games. This included hand-drawn, raster, and vector illustration, as well as animation.
• Created and edited sound effects and music for interactive Flash games and Flash advertisements, as well as educational DVDs.

Members Resources

• Created the company branding including logo, business cards, and letterhead.
• Designed websites for the Members Resources homepage, intranet, and four external client satellite websites.
• Created several interactive convention presentations in Flash, as well as the corresponding brochure take-home materials and large-scale print banners.
• Produced hundreds of images for video, web, and print using both Photoshop and traditional photography.
• Created the quarterly newsletter design and maintained its updates to several key markets in the southern Minnesota area.
